As provided for by section K of the MSHL Playing Rules, the MSHL has established the following season dates for the 2024-2025 season.

• Preseason: ~Aug 26th, 2024 - September 8th, 2024
• Note: The exact start of preseason depends on the start date of the relevant school system for each conference.
• First Day of Practice: September 9th, 2024 
• First Permissible Game Date (JV/Exhibition): September 27th, 2024 
• First Permission Varsity Game Date: October 18th, 2024 
• Last Day for In-Season Play: Feb 7th, 2025
• Conference Playoffs must complete before the State Playoffs start

Additionally, the MSHL Board of Directors has set the MSHL fee for each Varsity team to be $700 for the 2024/2025 season.  There is no fee for JV teams.   The fee is due to the MSHL by October 18th, 2024.
