About Middletown Valley

The Middletown Valley High School Hockey Club is operated by Middletown Valley Hockey, Inc., a non-profit organization that was founded to develop and promote youth amateur hockey in the Middletown Valley of Frederick County, Maryland, and to support a competitive high school ice hockey program within the Maryland Student Hockey League under the supervision of the Potomac Valley Amateur Hockey Association, the local governing body of USA Hockey.

Our mission includes encouraging, instructing, educating, and developing moral character, sportsmanship, skill, and prowess of participants and educating the residents of the Middletown Valley and surrounding communities about the sport of hockey.  Ice hockey at this level demands hard work, team commitment, and self discipline within a framework that emphasizes sportsmanship, academic excellence, and responsible citizenship. We strive to challenge and inspire our players to reach for their total development on and off the ice and we insist on integrity, ethical conduct and accountability of players, coaches, and staff.

For the 2022-23 Season, our co-op players attend Middletown High, Brunswick High, Walkersville High and St. John's Prep.
