Tomorrow night marks the 2018-2019 CSHL All-Star Game. With the roster released, the question that remains is which players will tip the balance to bring victory to their division. The winning players will not be splitting $1 million, but victory is priceless.

Both teams are stacked with players that have performed for their respective teams throughout the season. The All-Star Game, though a light-hearted event, requires players to adjust to an unfamiliar dynamic in which rivals become teammates.  

Jack Stanley, captain and defensemen for Washington-Lee, is familiar with adjusting his style to compliment his teammates. This season, he has taken on a defensive role for Washington-Lee relative to the season past in which he led the division in scoring. His stats this season are not on the leaderboard, but his smooth skating and offensive flare put him on the radar as a player to watch during the All-Star Game.

Charlie Wojcik, winger for Lake Braddock, is another player to watch for. He returned to the CSHL in December after his run with a Junior hockey team. He made his return known with strong offensive performances. Despite joining back halfway through the season, Wojcik holds second in league scoring behind TC Williams’ Jason Townsend.

Look out for these sleepers during the CSHL All-Star Game tomorrow, January 28th at Prince William Ice Center. The All-Star Game showcases combined talent between the North Division and the South Division. Fans should expect stellar competition from the drop of the puck to the final buzzer.
