Former Cavalier, Lacey Eden, Named Alternate Captain for Wisconsin

Former Archbishop Spalding HS forward, Lacey Eden, has been named an Alternate Captain for the University of Wisconsin Badgers for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

While at Spalding, Lacey helped the Cavaliers win two MAGHL AA Division Championships during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons.  Lacey also played on the Spalding Boys Varsity team, with her older brother Liam, during the 2017-18 season.  She tallied 6 points (3-3--6) in 10 MAPHL games played, including an MAPHL AA Semifinal appearance.  Lacey finished her high school career at Shattuck St. Mary's (MN).

As a Badger, Lacey has tallied 112 points over three seasons (53-59--112) in 97 games played.  During this span, the Badgers have won two NCAA Championships (2020-21 and 2022-23).  Lacey was named Second-Team All-WCHA last season.

Congratulations, Lacey!
