After giving up a two-goal lead in the third period, Will Lawrence scored 13 seconds into overtime to lead Landon to a 3-2 victory over St. John's and give the Bears their first MAPHL championship since 2016 and their fifth league title in the last 10 years.

After a scoreless first period, goals by Ryan Giles and JH Lages put Landon up 2-0 at the end of two periods of play. But Tommy Lokken notched a power play goal for St. John's at 4:52 of the third and a frantic finish resulted in Andrew Depoy's game-tying goal with 14.7 remaining in regulation time.

St. John's was playing without MAPHL "Player of the Year" Quinn Kennedy, who missed the entire playoffs due to illness.

Will Lawrence (#5) scored 13 seconds into overtime to lift Landon to a 3-2 victory over St. John's in the MAPHL championship game on Friday night at Laurel.
