In a game with a total of 65 shots on goal, five power plays and numerous quality scoring chances, it was the two goalies who were the top performers in the 0-0 tie between Georgetown Prep and Bishop O’Connell at Cabin John Arena on Friday night.

O’Connell’s Matthew McCarey stopped all 45 shots he faced while Elon Granston was a perfect 20 for 20 for Georgetown Prep. The Knights hit three posts over the course of the game, while Prep went 0 for three with the man advantage.   

The Knights played the game with only twelve players because of club-team commitments for an out-of-town tournament.
