HEAPS' TWO GOALS POWER ST. ALBANS PAST GOOD COUNSEL, 7-0

Jack Heaps scored one of St. Albans' three power play goals and added an even strength tally in the Bulldogs' 7-0 thrashing of Good Counsel at Ft. Dupont Ice Arena on Tuesday night. Junior goalie Ethan Roth recorded 15 saves in recording his first shutout in the team's first MAPHL game of the season.

Blaine Carter opened the scoring on a St. Albans power play after Good Counsel's Joey Goodwin was penalized for elbowing at 16:57 of the first period. Before the first period was over, Heaps notched his two goals to give the home team a 3-0 lead. Teddy Mott continued the onslaught when he scored a power play goal to make the score 4-0 at 2:15 of the second period.

Miguel Burelli, Amir Sadikov, and Noah Tilton added goals in the third period to complete the scoring.
