Churchill ties game with 13 second left on way to claiming title
Congratulations to the Churchill Bulldogs for winning the 2021 MSHL State Championship.
The Bulldogs were a mere 13 seconds from defeat but pulled out a miraculous goal with the goalie pulled to tie the game. After a tense scoreless 10 minutes in the first OT, Ngari Murira scored the game winner on a scorching wrister from the high slot just 41 seconds in the second OT.
Jack Pogorelc, Liam Coburn and Ngari Murira were named to the All Tournament Team.
