FREDERICK, Md. — Sammy Caesar scored the game-winner in overtime on a double assist from Klayton Barr and Mason Widener as the Washington County Northstars defeated Urbana in the Monocacy Valley Hockey League championship game Thursday at Skate Frederick.

Jason Cantor had a goal and Widener made 28 saves for the Northstars (14-3-1).

Washington County will host a state tournament game at the Hagerstown Ice & Sports Complex on Wednesday at 8 p.m.
